April 12, 2022 - Scenic Heights Navigator Event
To incentivize interest in computer science, Tonka DSC went to Scenic Heights Elementary School between 9:30 AM and 12:05 PM. With two activity stations - Python Continued and Encryption Activities - we visited the fourth-grade students and demonstrated the fun and educational opportunities in computer science.

Our Activities
ABOUT US >
We are a group of students from Minnetonka High School. We identified the need for bridging the Digital Divide in our community. Our initiative is to help kids have their own computers and gain knowledge of computers at early ages despite disadvantaged backgrounds; especially, we hope to bridge resources and narrow the Digital Divide in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.
