Minnetonka Donation Events

We work to bridge the Digital Divide by educating kids in digital literacy and helping underserved students gain access to technology.

We regularly go to the classrooms of elementary schools to help kids gain computer literacy using interactive activities. We actively participate in collecting and refurbishing obsolete computers for Free Geek Twin Cities, so the underserved students may receive a low-cost or free computer.

We have analyzed the impact that the Digital Divide has had on our community based on national data of Digital Divide.

If you want to bridge the Digital Divide with us, you are welcome to join our team. Let's work together to help our community.

ABOUT US >

We are a group of students from Minnetonka High School. We identified the need for bridging the Digital Divide in our community. Our initiative is to help kids have their own computers and gain knowledge of computers at early ages despite disadvantaged backgrounds; especially, we hope to bridge resources and narrow the Digital Divide in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.
